Services

Taika Translations LLC provides translation, interpretation, localization, and digital accessibility services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are defined in the quote, order, or statement of work agreed for your project.

Quotes, orders, and payment

• Quotes are based on the information and documents you provide and may be revised if the scope, source materials, or requirements change.
• Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Government buyers may use available contract vehicles and purchase methods where applicable.
• Orders are confirmed once accepted by Taika and, where required, payment or a purchase order is received.

Your responsibilities

• You confirm you have the right to submit the documents and content you provide for translation or remediation.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of source materials and for telling us any specific requirements (formatting, certification, notarization, target dialect, deadlines).
• You are responsible for confirming any format or certification requirements imposed by the agency, court, or institution receiving your documents.

Deliverables and review

We perform our services with professional care using qualified linguists and reviewers. Certified translations include a signed statement of accuracy. Because acceptance criteria vary by receiving institution, and because source quality and instructions affect outcomes, we do not guarantee acceptance by any third party. If you identify an error in a deliverable, notify us promptly and we will work with you to correct it.

Acceptance guarantee and accuracy warranty

We stand behind the accuracy of the certified translations we produce:

• Acceptance guarantee (translation quality). If a certified translation we provide is rejected by the receiving agency, court, university, or institution because of an error or omission in our translation, we will correct it at no charge or, if we are unable to, refund the fee you paid for that translation. This guarantee applies to the quality of the translation itself.
• What it does not cover. It does not guarantee the outcome of your application, petition, case, or admission, and it does not cover rejections caused by factors outside our translation — for example, missing or incorrect source documents, a receiving party's changed or discretionary requirements, filing errors, or eligibility decisions. Those outcomes rest with the reviewing authority, not with the translation.
• One-year accuracy warranty. For one year from delivery, if you identify a genuine accuracy error in a completed translation, we will correct it at no charge. Notify us promptly with the specific issue so we can review and, where warranted, revise the deliverable.
• How to make a claim. Contact us at projects@taikatranslations.com with your order details and, where available, the receiving party's written reason for rejection, so we can review the translation and resolve it.

Intellectual property

Site content is owned by Taika Translations LLC or its licensors. On full payment, ownership of the final translated deliverable transfers to you, except for tools, translation memories, and general know-how, which remain ours.

Confidentiality

We treat your documents as confidential and can enter into a non-disclosure or Business Associate Agreement on request. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taika Translations LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
