Jason Ehlinger
Jason Ehlinger is CEO of TaikaTranslations and its operating company, which he co-founded along with his wife Margarita in 2009. The company celebrates its 13th anniversary revolutionizing the industry and causing market disruption in the translation industry. “Cultivating a unique culture that thrives on outside the box thinking and innovation is foundational for developing strategy and processes that cause our venture to grow and prosper both now and into the future. Our people, who hold our values dear, and demonstrate those each day when they come to work create an irresistible environment where personal, professional and company growth are essentially second nature.” Prior to founding this company, Jason served as a medic for the United Stated Air Force. He also serves the community by helping disadvantaged children and families get the help they need as well as provides guidance for entrepreneurs and business leaders starting or operating their company’s and growing their futures by implementing bulletproof business practices and company culture values that create long term impact.
Margarita Ehlinger
Margarita or “Maggie” is the co-founder of TaikaTranslations and is the one who sparked the start of the firm back in 2009. At that time, she recently completed her Bachelors of Science in Finno-Ugric languages and became a translator herself. And a successful one at that! In fact, she was so successful, and her clients enjoyed working with her so much that they eventually asked if she could help them with additional tasks and languages that she did not translate herself. It did not take long for this to turn into something much bigger than Maggie and for her and Jason to realize that they would need to establish a “real company” to create a team that would make growing possible. That’s where Jason came in because he had the management and leadership skills needed while Maggie had the functional and work processes necessary to make the business come to life. Maggie and Jason now have seven children of their own and lead the growing company together. Maggie enjoys traveling, all kinds of adventures, investing in family, and is an expert host.
Mike Klanin
Mike is the Chief Accountant. He has been with our company from very early on and was the very first hire. Mike learned finance and accounting while working at TaikaTranslations and eventually worked his way through the ranks to the position he holds now. He implements financial management and accounting principles and strategy and provides guidance and company leadership in multiple critical areas. He is an expert guitarist and has served in multiple bands on his free time. He enjoys traveling, culture and art, and good music of course! He volunteers at many church and community outreach events and even went to help refugees escaping from the Russian invasion in Ukraine by interpreting for them in the neighboring country of Romania.
Daniel Poltoraks
Daniel is the General Production Manager, has strong process and team leadership skills and leads the production team in innovation and process development and planning. He implements digitalization across our platforms and integrates strategy and solutions into work programs. Daniel provides client advice, R&D and enhances our use of technology in all practical spheres to create an efficient and modern approach to everything we do. Daniel’s previous experience involves sales management, and the co-founding of a toy company that sold products in the Baltic and Scandinavian markets. He volunteers in the community to help inner city teens providing a safe and healthy atmosphere where they can hang out and learn important principles and developmental character. In addition, he is the director of a men’s camp that provides training and Christian perspective.
